Environmental Regulation and Litigation

Burns Day & Presnell represents companies, developers and other clients involved in a broad range of activities requiring permits to conduct their activities under the land development, air, water and waste programs, and needing regulatory advice on complying with a broad range of State, Federal and local statutes and ordinances.  Our representation includes working with and advising on matters under the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality and other State and local agencies, as well as the U.S Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  We also represent clients in administrative and litigation matters before the Office of Administrative Hearings, State and Federal courts.
